几种席夫碱衍生物的二阶非线性光学性质研究

    摘要:

    采用密度泛函理论B3LYP方法,在6-31G水平上对10种芳醛缩芳胺类席夫碱衍生物进行几何结构优化,在获得稳定构型的基础上,用TDHF/6-31G方法计算了它们的分子二阶非线性光学系数β值。用室温固相方法合成了其中的6种化合物,并测试了它们的宏观SHG响应。从微观和宏观两个方面研究了芳醛缩芳胺类席夫碱衍生物系列二阶非线性光学材料的性质,探讨了取代基种类、取代位置等有关因素对这类化合物非线性光学性质的影响规律。

    Abstract:

    The geometric structures of ten Schiff base derivatives were optimized with B3LYP/6-31G method, and the second-order nonlinear optical coefficients (β) were calculated by TDHF/6-31G. Six Schiff bases were synthesized by the condensation of aromatic amine and aromatic aldehyde through solid phase reaction at normal temperature. Three powder samples show obvious second harmonic generation (SHG). The properties of these second order NLO materials was studied through microscopic and macroscopic aspects, the relationship between substituents, substituted positions and the second order NLO properties were discussed.
